If you want to try an authentic Mexican cuisine, Real De Oaxaca is the place that you should try. Before coming here my perception about Mexican food was just limited to tacos and burritos. After having the food from here i got an experience of this Mexican food diaspora. It is more than what we think, it is beyond just tacos and burritos.
Here the main attraction is the hospitality and the staffs are awesome. They even let you try some of there iconic dishes. Food served here is unique and have a homily touch.
I think you guys should try Atole panela, which is a sweet taco having chocolate in the sauce,
Then Claytuda vajet, Paloma real .... so on...

Service was great... food was delicious and prices are $$ to $$$. They recommended coming back on Fridays and Saturdays live music. Mexican decor is beautiful, restaurant is pleasant over all. I am local but never been here before and yes I recommend it as a great Mexican restaurant...

This is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever eaten. The food is typical Oaxacan, and is the best. Hand made tortillas, different mole styles, Cafe de la olla, we had the huitlacoche empanadas, and enchiladas, very authentic, and also pan de azucena, delicioso 😋. I recently had a very bad experience at el Torito in Redondo Beach, you can read my review. But from now on El areal de Oaxaca is my favorite and my wife's as well. By the way our server Jeremías was superb.

The tlayudas (I call them a Mexican pizza), a huge thin tortilla topped with lard, beans, and your choice of toppings - string cheese, beef, chorizo, vegetables, etc. Depending on your hunger, each tlayuda can easily feed two guests.
Their Mangoneada is a delicious mix of mexcal, mango, and chamoy. It's sweet and salty with a hint of spice.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and we absolutely love it. It’s one of those rare places that gets everything right every single time. The interior is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it’s the perfect spot for a wonderful meal with friends or loved ones.
The food is consistently spot-on perfection. The tlayudas are incredible, the memelas are a must, and honestly, you need to try both. They’re that good. And if you want the full experience, don’t leave without trying the chapulines. It was my first time having them, and they were absolutely amazing.
This restaurant has become a favorite for a reason. Delicious food, beautiful setting, and a consistently great experience. Highly recommended.
